Artist Info

Stewart White studied at the Pratt Institute in Brooklyn and (eventually) graduated from UC Berkeley with a BFA. While there he studied as many architecture classes as possible. He works as an architectural illustrator and sometime designer. His watercolors both in architecture and in painting competitions have won him many awards. He is a member of the Mid-Atlantic Plein-Air Painters Association (MAPAPA). His background in architecture gives him an understanding of line, proportion, geometry and an appreciation of space and light that shows up in his Fine Art works, as well.
